Visiting rules for tourists at the Buda Castle Church of Our Lady

  • The church is open for tourists with entry tickets.
  • We request our visitors to show respectful behaviour:
    • Do not smoke, eat, drink or bring dogs or other animals in the church.
    • Please wear modest clothing (covering shoulders and thighs) when visiting our church. Male visitors are requested to enter with bare head - unless this is against the rules of their religion.
    • Please keep mobile phones switched off while in the church.
    • Please be quiet and show a respectful behaviour.

If visitors fail to comply with these rules of entry, our colleagues will ask them to leave the church.
