You can use your ticket to visit both the church and the museum. You
can also use it to participate in the guided tours starting at the given
hours.
Individual visitors may rent audio guide devices, which at the moment
are available in the following languages: Hungarian, English, German,
Italian, Spanish, French, Russian, Polish.
Those who do not wish to look at the church but would like to pray or
enjoy a moment of silence, may enter the sacred chapel all day free of
charge.
Our sacred chapel is also open for visiting tourists.
Visiting rules for tourists at the
Buda Castle Church of Our Lady
- The church is open for tourists with entry tickets.
- We request our visitors to show respectful behaviour:
- Do not smoke, eat, drink or bring dogs or other animals in the church.
- Please wear modest clothing (covering shoulders and thighs) when
visiting our church. Male visitors are requested to enter with bare
head - unless this is against the rules of their religion.
- Please keep mobile phones switched off while in the church.
- Please be quiet and show a respectful behaviour.
If visitors fail to comply with these rules of entry, our colleagues
will ask them to leave the church.
